Welcome to submissions for the 2026 CDMX Comedy Festival in Mexico City. Apply below to be considered for showcase performances, workshops, and festival events.
Our festival will be taking place in Mexico City!
All comedians accepted for showcase performances will be given at least two showcase spots as well as other styles of shows if they choose to volunteer (roast battle, storytelling, etc.) as well as entry to workshops on topics important to working comedians and a variety of comedian exclusive events.
Comedians selected for the festival each get a free festival shirt, free admission to all showcases, first access to tickets to headliners, networking events, educational workshops, and food. All comedians will also be offered free lodging. Get here and we'll do our best to get you around!
Comedians who are not accepted are welcome to attend shows for a discounted price as well as attend workshops and networking events.
Submissions will be judged on strength of 5 minute clip by an anonymous panel of judges, five scores per clip, the highest scores will be invited to the festival. Clips longer than 5 minutes will not be viewed in their entirety.

Stand Up Comedy Clip Details
Please submit a five minute UNEDITED video.
Please note, only the first 3-5 minutes of your video will be judged.
While videos can be longer than 5 minutes, judges will not be watching after five minutes or judging material after the five minute mark of your video.
Feel free to cut off the host or banter at the top of your clip to allow more space for actual material.
Clip can be any portion of your set but has to be one continuous video.
- Clips under 3 minutes will not be considered.
- An edited “best of” reel or montage will not be considered.
- Podcasts, improv, or sketch will not be considered.
- Audio-only submissions will not be considered.
- All clips must be unlocked.
- If we have to request access we will not do so and your clip will not be considered.
- If the URL does not work your clip will not be considered.
- Google Drive links will not be considered.
- Clips with AI affects will not be considered.
Your clip will be judged on the following criteria: content, originality, stage presence, and audience response.
